LIFE LATELY V.7

Lately, this guy has been so good! We have completely stopped crating him all together, he never has accidents (were talking like 6 months since one!), doesn't go through our things, eat anything or get into anything while we are at work... he is so good! And sometimes, he even gets to sleep on the comfy bed. I love him! Having him be so good makes it so easy to come and go as we want. 

After a very, very trying and long day last week we picked up some fast food, bundled up, and headed to the beach to just sit and take it easy. The waves were insane!

A succulent I found that was half dead and on sale a few months ago, and now I can't even believe how it has taken off this summer! The color is unbelievable!!!

A little play on Red, White and Blue for the week. I am loving my new Anthropologie sweater, it feels like a blanket with sleeves. Would that be a slanket?

Cute little treats for the 4th! Really cute, and really delicious too!

Sitting on our driveway watching the children's parade at our block party. All the kids decorated their bikes and put on a parade, although it quickly turned into a bike "race" with kids going wild!

My 4th of july look was simple. A white and blue tie-dye top from Anthropologie, jeans and sandals. For my first day off in awhile I needed to take it easy and keep it casual!

Our neighborhood also had a chili cook off which boyfriend took very seriously. We polished off our vintage Crockpot and he went to town. He didnt win anything this year, so better luck next time. At least we now have dinner for the rest of the week!!

And back to work it is! I found some green cargo pants that had been hiding in my closet and paired it with a black polka dot top (which you can't even see here) and a beige sweater for a casual look. It is so funny how my style is kind of changing from being around all the clothes at Anthro. I am loving more loose, bohemian looks lately.
