This might be my very favorite place in Newport Beach. Nestled between some houses I will never be able to afford (let alone go inside) is this little lookout point. For my brains sake, lets call it a park. This park has a few benches and a little bit of grass. Did I mention it is high on a hill above the Pacific Coast Highway? Well it is. That first strip of water is the Bay, that little cluster of houses you see is Balboa Island, and beyond that is the Ocean and the Newport Beach coast. Tell me you don't want to sit on this bench on a Saturday morning with your puppy rolling in the grass and a latte in hand. Its perfection. It didnt make for the ideal spot for photos, but I don't even care. Its beautiful I tell you, and my little secret spot. But if you want to know where it is, I might let you in on my secret. Its too pretty to not share.
Do you have a place like this that you love to go to?
Update: The Winner of the $50 Simon Malls Gift Card is announced on the widget here! Was it you?
