Stitchfix Again!

So to be honest, this is my fifth StitchFix box! Life was just so chaotic when I got my fourth box, I never had time to photograph anything and too much time passed and it had to be sent back, but this box was so incredibly amazing I couldn't WAIT to show you!
StitchFix
If you are newer to my blog or haven't heard of StitchFix before let me give you a brief rundown. You pay $20 and fill out an online survey all about your size, style and what you are looking for. A personal shopper then handpicks 5 items for you and sends them right to your door step. You have a few days to try everything on, check out the styling advice they send with the items and decide what to do. Your initial $20 fee is like a downpayment on an item, so if you choose one thing, that money is applied! If you love your entire fix, they discount the whole lot 25%! It is pretty much a win-win for everyone involved and it is such a great way to try styles you may have never thought of before! While the pieces and prices fluctuate, I have noticed that my sizing is always spot on!

On to my Fix:
Lovposh "Ophelle" Short Sleeve Shirtdress-
The sizing and print on this dress were so spot on, I literally squealed when I put it on! The print reminds me of a Karen Walker dress we just had at Anthro an then fun feminine shape was soooo flattering! The pockets tend to turn outwards the back, but I think I am going to sew a little stitch on the bottom of the pocket to the front of the dress so they continue to lay flat! This dress was priced well and I had to keep it!
On a side note, it had a small hole by the collar so I emailed the girls and they were so great in helping me figure out what to do and offered me a credit to get it fixed. I will say, every single time I have had an issue or question they have been SO wonderful. I really, truly, love this company!

Everly "Livia" Sheer Tie Front Tank-
I knew Everly was a new brand to Stitchfix and one of my personal favorites so I requested some pieces from them. Did you know you can request specific items or brands you have spotted on other girls or on their blog? I loved the color of this top and the high-low hemline of the top but I just didnt love that it was sheer. I tried a white tank then a colored one underneath but it just didnt look right. Had the top not been sheer, it would have stayed with me!

Mystree Raelyn Jersey Blazer-
I really liked this blazer! It was a grey cotton blazer and I love how those can feel so comfortable but look so dressy! I loved the pop of stripes underneath, which made it that much cuter! The fit was great and the style was wonderful but I already have a jacket so similar, I couldn't keep it! It was almost the exact same! Had this been in another colorway it might have made its way into my closet!

Willow and Clay "Noelle" Stripe Sweater-
This is going to be an easy review... I put it on, loved it so much, took the tags right off and wore it the whole rest of the day! A loose fitting, chunky knit sweater in a stripe? Sign me up any day! I wore it to work that day and had so many compliments! You will see it again soon styled in an outfit photo, I just love this sweater!!!

Whats In Store "Farand" Necklace-
Another thing I requested was a wooden necklace. They totally listened and were spot on. I have been loving these geometric necklaces made out of wood that are so lightweight, I have picked up two recently and really love how they look with almost everything! This necklace was a really pretty color, but the asymmetrical-ness of the pieces made it lay weird on my chest. Had it been more of a "collar" type necklace, or if I was a little "flatter" on the chest area I would have kept it!

So hopefully this gives you some ideas of what can show up in your Fix! If you are interested in seeing more reviews you can head here, here or here! And if you are interested in getting a Fix of your own, head over here to sign up!

  5. Really love that necklace! I just ordered my 5th fix. While I don't think they really handpick things for me, I love how fun it is to see what is in the box!

    1. Well they must! How else would they know your sizes! I have changed up my profile from time to time and seen a change in my fix!

    2. I agree that they pull a size small (I don't think that is all it takes for something to fit), but I don't think they actually pay attention to my comments and try to pick pieces around what I've told them. Maybe we have different stylists? I know some bloggers who are really happy with different stylists. Maybe I should request a change?
