Lets just get this out of the way right now... Yes, yes it does look like I have a string of blueberries around my neck. Phew! Glad I could just be straight with you guys. I didnt want you to be staring at your monitors thinking "Hmm... those look like something..." Blueberries. It's blueberries. Anyways boyfriend and I had date night (which seems like forever ago now) out on the town (okay, we were home by 9:30...) last weekend to celebrate finally getting a few steps closer on getting our house. I found this color-blocked tank while crusin' Forever 21 that day and thought it would be perfect. I decided to keep it pretty neutral, the denim was dark like the Navy, my tangerine toenails perfectly matched the orange in the top, and those tan strappy sandals mimicked the tan in the top. If that is not color coordinated from head to toe then I just don't know what to tell ya. I plopped on that lovely vintage find for good measure too. Turns out the food was bad, the service was worse, but I still looked cute. And I got a cupcake afterwards from Casey's. Apparently she won on Cupcake Wars. I had the Cinnamon Sugar and it was pretty... winning!
Love that top! I hate bad service is just ruins the whole experience, but cupcakes can make anything better!
ReplyDeletethis is super cute! mmm cinn/sug cupcake? delicious!
ReplyDeletei LOVE that shirt! sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteooh, cute. i love that shirt!
ReplyDeleteCute blog!
ReplyDeleteI love the silhouette of that blouse with those pants -- it's such an effortlessly chic look. Almost as delicious as cupcakes...
ReplyDeleteLove this color blocked top. I saw something similar at Ann Taylor this week and contemplated getting it, but now that I know this is from Forever21 I might need to check that out and pay WAY less for the same look. Love this on you! - Katy
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun top!
ReplyDeleteThanks girls. I found it to be a bit to big and billowy... I would actually try on a size down from your regular if you find it. And I hardly ever say that about F21!
ReplyDeleteNice outfit! That top is perfect for summer; it's colorful and has a laid-back vibe.
ReplyDeleteThat top is super fabulous. If you're into a thrifting, I host a photo thrifting link up on my blog every week and I'd love for you to participate!

ReplyDeleteYou are so pretty! Great photos.
ReplyDeleteSuch a chic top! I think you styled it perfectly, with neutral accessories and slim pants to contrast the billowy shape of the top and let the color blocking stand out. Like Katy Rose, I also saw something similar at Ann Taylor and considered buying it. But I like the colors in this version even more!
