Orange Circle

One of my favorite places to take a day trip to is Orange, CA. Specifically, they have a super charming Old Towne area that is spread over a few blocks (Chapman and Glassell) all stemming from a round-a-bout that has a small park right in the middle. Because of that, this area is also often referred to as the Orange Circle. There are antique shops for days, vintage clothing stores everywhere, and charming restaurants and boutiques that line the streets. Some of you might recognize the area from a little movie you might have seen called That Thing You Do!
My friend Rachel and I headed down there a few weeks ago on a sunny weekday afternoon to partake in some lunching and shopping. Though it is only about 10 minutes up the freeway, it feels like you are really somewhere else. There is also a college nearby so you get that laid back, small town vibe.

We had lunch at Rutabegorz, a cute little cafe that serves everything and anything you could possibly want, for a vegetarian or light lunch. Some of my other favorite places include The Filling Station (cafe that used to be the old gas station), Haven Gastropub (beer and grub), and Bruxie (sweet and savory waffle concoctions!).
Laurenly is a boutique I always love to pop into. They have great casual dresses and accessories and carry Toms and 31 Bits. Another shop we poked our head in had the most gorgeous display of Apothecary jars filled with lovely soaps, lotions and bath salts! I loved this set up! The streets are also lined with Antique stores just filled to the brim with anything you could ever possibly want!
The Enchanted Florist (such a cute name!) had a lovely Easter display in their window and the most incredible Starbucks I have ever seen! The funny thing is, literally across the street is another Starbucks inside of a bank! We stopped for some caffeine and then spotted a wall that was perfect for a quick outfit photo or two!

On Rachel: Jeans- Target, Sandals- Old Navy, Handbag- Urban Outfitters, Sunglasses- Paul Frank, Jacket- Old Navy, Scarf- Forever 21

On Hayley: Dress- Everly, Jacket- Vintage, Sandals- Target, Belt- Thrifted, Necklace- Forever 21, Handbag- Orla Kiely Outfit can also be seen here.
Then we stopped into Spotted Moth, a boutique I am a super fan of online, so I was excited to visit in person. I swear everything they had in the shop I wanted to take home with me!! Everything had adorable prints and patterns and they carried the best designers! The girls who run that shop are so lovely, and the decor inside is so cute. I would definitely make this a stop if you come visit Orange. I really wanted to take those two blouses home with me, especially that awesome grey and white number!

Have you visited Orange? Where is your favorite place to go? Any spots that I missed? Tell me in the comments!
